June Highlights:
Bee Yourself: LGBTQ+ youth are invited to visit the Woodland Park Zoo with Lambert House on June 11th from 3:30-5:30pm. We’ll meet at the Zoo, and entry is free with Lambert House. There will be an interactive animal experience, though we're waiting for confirmation on which animal we'll get to visit :-) Reply back to me to sign up.
Juneteenth: Lambert House will be closed Thurs., June 19 for Juneteenth; our Covington and Skyway groups will meet one week later, on June 26, to accommodate the holiday. We’re celebrating Juneteenth all month long with Black LGBTQ+ films during our Thursday movie nights on June 5, 12, and 26. Youth Pride Renaissance Party: Lambert House youth are planning a Renaissance-themed LGBTQ+ youth Pride Party on Saturday, June 21 from 7pm-Midnight at All Pilgrims (500 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102). Visit our website for more details: https://www.lamberthouse.org/pride-party-renaissance
Youth Pride Sleepover: Current Lambert House youth are invited to apply to join our chaperoned Pride Sleepover on Saturday, June 28th. The application and details are available on our Pride Party page linked above.
Youth & Family Pride Brunch: We are excited to welcome families back to our annual Youth & Family Pride Brunch Sunday, June 29th before the Seattle Pride Parade. Youth may invite adult family or supporters to join them for brunch. Details and registration link on our Pride Party page linked above.
March in the Pride Parade with Lambert House: Youth, alumni, families, volunteers, and supporters are invited to march with us in the Seattle Pride Parade! We’ll give out Lambert House t-shirts at our Youth & Family Pride Brunch, but you may meet us downtown on 4th Avenue as well. Details about our staging time will be added to our Pride Party page linked above when available.
Summer Camping Trip Registration: Our camping trip for youth ages 14-22 will be Wednesday, July 9 to Sunday, July 13. The trip will include tent camping, hiking in Mt. Rainier National Park, cold-water swimming at Alder Lake, planning and preparing meals, other activities TBD, and lots of fun! There is a sliding scale fee $2000-$200 (Lambert House breaks event at $1325). Email ken@lamberthouse.org for questions about the camping trip; he will also send out a more detailed itinerary and application link soon.
Save the Date! Henry's Gymnasium Capitol Hill is producing a family-friendly Magic Show and fundraiser for Lambert House on Saturday, June 14th at 7pm. Henry's is located at 1617 Boylston Ave, Seattle, WA 98122. Once ticket sales are live, I will send out another note.
The West Seattle Junction FC and West Seattle Rhodies FC are teaming up for their Pride Matches with special Game Day posters, and we're soliciting designs from Lambert House youth! The Rhodies Pride Match is June 28th and the Junction Pride Match is June 29th. Posters will be sold for $10 with proceeds split 50/50 between Lambert House and the Youth Artist. Poster details:
One poster for each game day, 11"x17" in size.
You'll work directly with the West Seattle FC marketing team for guidance on layout, content, and production.
Posters will be featured in our digital channels (email, social media, website) leading up to the matches, and we will highlight the artist(s) (if you want) as part of our Pride Week promotions.
Final designs must be completed no later than June 20th.
If you are interested in creating one or both of these Pride Match posters, email me by Wednesday, May 28th. Feel free to send a few samples of your work, especially if it might inspire your design for the Pride Match posters.

Ultra Violet Group on Tuesdays from 7-8:30pm (for women-identified and women-aligned youth, including trans, asexual, non-binary youth)
Alternates between Zoom for a video/audio based group, and Rocket Chat for a text-chat group all other weeks
Non-Binary Group on Tuesdays from 6-7pm

Dungeons & Dragons Group: Mostly occurring on 4th Mondays at 5pm on Zoom with employees from Wizards of the Coast, the creators of D&D. Occassional date exceptions and in-person games indicated below. In-person games take place at our Capitol Hill Drop-In Center.
