House Activities and Groups
In addition to the drop-in center and other activities for youth, Lambert House offers discussion and support groups. Please check our calendar for group days and times.
Transgender Group- The Transgender Group is a weekly discussion and support group that gathers in the library, it's a chance for youth to get to talk with others about their experiences and concerns.
Queer Young Females- A discussion/support group that meets weekly in the library. Topics range from family issues to school happenings to like/lust/love relationships. All queer females welcome. Respect for others' personal experiences and ideas is required, as well as respect for their privacy. Come discuss how smart, strong queer women live their lives.
Boys Group- This group meets in the library each week; a volunteer conducts the meeting and youth take the opportunity to talk about issues that relate to their everyday lives.
Sex, Dating & Relationships Group- This group meets the first and third Wednesday of every month. It's for LGBTQ youth that want to learn new things, and explore all sorts of ideas around sex, identity, and sexual relationships. We think that exploring your sexuality should be fun while taking care of yourself and your partner. We promote positive sexuality in the face of social stigma. We support your growth as a unique person!
Art Night- Make art! Have fun! Come to Art Night and express your creativity! No experience needed!
