Join Lambert House and Eating Recovery Center Saturday, July 14, 11:00a-1:30p for Somewhere Over the Rainbow: Moving from Shame to Pride, a brunch to celebrate the importance of finding your identity, letting go of shame and embracing pride in recovery, followed by a panel discussion with Eric Dorsa, LGBTQ advocate and award-winning drag queen; CarLarans is an Electro/Soul and Hip-Hop artist and activist creating spaces for fellow QTPoC (Queer, Trans, People of Color); and Nica Stepien, LMHC with Eating Recovery Center. Spectacular summer hike! Join us for a summer hike with amazing views on Saturday, July 7th; location TBD by the hiking group and weather – plan for a full day trip (8:30am-10pm). Liability waivers are required to be signed by you, or legal guardian if you are under 18 years old. You will need comfortable hiking shoes, clothing in layers, water, snacks, lunch, and money for a dinner stop on the way back. Complete supply list provided after you sign up; we have some gear you may be able to borrow. New Group: Tranzfermations – a new program on the 2nd Thursday of each month, offered by Sky who also provides haircuts on 2nd Tuesdays. Makeup, hats, and wigs – this isn’t just about drag, it’s about achieving the look you want, and one hat or one wig are yours to keep.
