Special Event Descriptions

Lambert House Outdoor Rec is a Mt. Catherine hike on Saturday, June 10th. Arrive at Lambert House 9 am, returning by 6 pm. This modest hiking trip along the southern wall of Snoqualmie Pass offers unobstructed views of Mount Rainier and the mountains of Snoqualmie Pass. In the summer, rare butterfly species and berry patches are another treat. Bring sturdy shoes, a daypack, 1 qt. water, a hearty lunch, warm jacket, warm hat, gloves, and snack food. See or phone the front desk to sign up and for details (206-322-2515 ext *819, from 4:00 – 9:30 pm M-F). Liability release form is required.

Seattle Public Schools All GSA Gathering! Lambert House is proud to host Seattle Public Schools GSAs, with SPS staff, and give them a space to meet each other, play games, learn about what other schools are doing to support LGBTQ+ youth, and to take tours of Lambert House. There will be free food, too! This event is open for students in Seattle Public Schools only.

Pride is Here! Join Lambert house for its Annual Pride Celebration. Orientation for new youth required. Advanced sign up for sleepover required; youth signing up for the sleepover must have completed orientation, attended Lambert House drop-in at least twice prior to June 24th, and be in good disciplinary standing. Pride Brunch is open to youth-invited adult guests (parents, older siblings, teachers/GSA advisers, etc.). All youth, parents, volunteers, and supporters are welcome to join Lambert House in the parade.
